Now that COVID-19 has forced us all to spend time in the virtual world, it might be the perfect time to learn about marketing your home using  virtual staging.

New York real estate firm The Bamberger Group explains how it works. First, the rooms of your home are professionally photographed, completely empty.  Then, using digital technology, a designer adds in furniture and décor.  The beauty is that almost any style can be created – and rooms can be shown as multifunctional.  A second bedroom can be shown as a fitness studio.  That finished basement?  It could be designed to look like a multi-media room.  Styles can easily be switched from casual and comfy, to chic and cosmopolitan.  Of course, there is the downside of needing your home to be empty while you’re selling it.  But that works perfectly for Philly rehabber and renovator Joe Bonk as detailed in the Philadelphia Inquirer. For other pros and cons, take a look at this helpful article.

Of course, for advice on putting your home’s best face forward, rely on the team at Vanguard Realty Associates.
