Home buyers often ask why they need the help of a Realtor.  Typically, the hesitation is based on the notion that buyers will be hit with hefty fees for what may seem like a simple process.  The fact is that  sellers pay the Realtor’s commission – not the buyer.  And, the search and purchase process can be anything but simple.

Sarah Li Cain, writing for Bank Rate, points out that a Realtor can save you time by helping you find homes that fit your budget, lifestyle and location preferences. When you do find that seemingly perfect home, a Realtor can help you evaluate the asking price, negotiate an offer, specify any contingencies, review seller disclosures, manage a home inspection  and navigate the legalities of the purchase process.
